Devon & Shea left for Utah and each drove! I tracked them the whole way and they made it safely. WHEW! They both have jobs now and are getting settled. Yippee, But I already miss them....

SNOW Fun!

We had 5-6 inches of snow and that's alot for Memphis. The boys were late getting to the hill and the kids had slid the snow practically away...but they had fun for awhile.

A Wild Night!

Well, last night was pretty scary and wild. Most of the evening we listened to sirens warning us of tornadoes heading our way. It started even before people made it home from work. Memphis city schools closed at 12:30 tho so most all the kids were home. Shea had to work at the Tan n Go across town from us so she was there by herself and had to lock up and stay in the bathroom. We just sat and watched the news (as the satellite went out periodically) tell us where the tornadoes were spotted and where they were heading. Debri from who knows where was landing in our yard. The Hickory Ridge Mall was damaged and several other places. I am just thankful we are safe and it could have been much worse had we not been warned all day. The death toll from these storms in the surrounding areas is over 40 now. These are a couple pics taken very near our home. SCARY times but all is well....

SUPER TUESDAY!

So I voted this morning....but I don't have alot of faith in the people of our country to choose a good leader. We'll see who we can look to the future to help this country with it's many problems. I know this is still the best place to be but I wish we could improve on so many things and I voted for Romney to help us. SUPER TUESDAY is here and at least we have a say....

Beloved Prophet

AT age 97, Prophet and President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away Sun. night, after 13 years as head of the Church. He was such an inspiring leader to all the world. He had such energy and vitality even in his old age and he made people smile and laugh whenever he spoke. He loved everyone and did so much for so many. The world does not know how much he accomplished in his life as he was such a humble man, but I know the Lord will surely look to him and say WELL DONE, my good and faithful servant. We will miss you Pres. Hinckley but I know you are glad to be HOME.
